But then on Monday, the day we leave, of course it is beautiful and clear and we can really see the mountains… You can really see the difference in atmosphere in Leavenworth between these two extremes, and it was sort of fun to see the town both ways in just this long weekend visit.

When we visited the Waterfront Park in Leavenworth, WA on Friday morning (after Thanksgiving), it was quiet and misty- just gorgeous. See for yourselves- these photos with my little point and shoot does not do them justice, and I wonder again (as I have for the past month or so) about investing in a serious camera.
