Bunny Bar Portland

Recently I had the fun of joining a limited time cocktail bar pop-up in PDX. It’s Bunny BarPortland, offering 3 super cute drinks with a precious garnish at Bar Miranda. Bar Miranda is a hidden gem in downtown Portland, located at the mezzanine of the Portland Food Hall. This cocktail pop up offerings are in addition to the regular drink offerings of Bar Miranda.

The three drinks are being offered only when Bar Miranda is open – which are limited to Wednesday – Saturday, 4 PM – 9 PM only – but only until April 20. I can only hope there may be other versions of Bunny Bar that might pp up in the future – though spring is seasonal, bunnies are timeless right?

Keep in mind besides the pop up specials, the regular drinks menu is also available featuring fresh juices, handmade syrups, and a lean towards refreshing and tropical flavors. Food service is courtesy of a mini version of LeChon offering ceviches, tostadas, fresh oysters and shareable bar snacks.

The spring drink specials of Bunny Bar Portland for April include

Medal for most photogenic: Bird Bath cocktail with Aria Gin, lemon, maraschino, blue caracao. Don’t let all the blue color fool you, that blue caracao is balanced out nicely.

Medal for most useful garnish: The Cottontail cocktail with cachaca, campari, rosé, lime that comes with a cotton candy tail to add to your drink to add a little additional sweetness if you’d like.

Medal for most healthy (and also my favorite of the three taste wise): Rabbit Food cocktail with elderflower, blanc vermouth, absinthe, carrot juice, basil. Yes that’s totally a candy ring, your candy ring shape may vary.

  1. Bunny Bar is so cute and so much fun! It’s tough to pick a favorite cocktail, but I definitely surprised by the Rabbit Food as carrot juice is not a typical ingredient. It works well here though — yum!

  2. How cute are these?! Refreshing and fruity sounds like my kind of drink menu.

  3. Those cocktails are so cute! I make a general rule of staying away from fluorescent blue anything, but the other two cocktails look delish.
